new google sites

 Since google has decided to force everyone to use the new 'google sites' I have been forced to redo all of the web sites.  The new puzzle site seems to be up and running ok. I am still working on the other sites. I will be posting only one story a month, one flash story and one guest story.  The new google sites resstrict how many listings you can have; don't ask! I am sorry for not be more pro active. I have several stories in the works. After I finish with this google problem I will try and finish a few of them. Sorry for any problems.

 Finally I was able to finish another story. It will be posted March 17 2021 with the "End of the Affair" group of stories on LIT. Sorry for the slow postings. It is getting harder with old age and stiff joints.  Thanks for reading. Does anyone even look at these posts anymore. I will have two more stories coming in the next two months.  

Thanks for the nice response to "Norma's Pit Stop". I am glad to see that a few of you enjoyed it. The fifty way's story,(the Alternative) was also well received. I will try and get a few more done.  I hope you enjoy the short stories because I am having a bit of trouble getting any long ones done.  It's hell getting old. Avoid it if you can.  Papatoad

Sorry that I have not been keeping up with the blog.  In case you haven't noticed I have started submitting stories again.  I have posted more stories in the last six months than I did in the last ten years.  Catch them on SOL or LIT.  I don't know the reason for the sudden up tick in writing, but I will try and keep it up.  I have several more in the pipe so maybe, if you are still interested, you can pick them up. Should have a new post for the '50 ways' to leave your lover' project.

I am trying.  June was a good month for getting a few things done.  I have one almost ready and I have to finish DD.  It is nice to have found my muse again but hard keeping it up. I realize that most of my blog followers have dropped off do to my inactivity. Sorry I'll try and do better.

Dire Future

It looks as if Google will be retiring all of the old Google Sites. I have a lot of stuff posted on Google Sites and I am afraid that much of it will disappear. Stories, guest stories and also the jigsaw puzzles might be gone shortly. I apologize ahead of time for the problem. I will be trying to resolve things but I am getting a bit slow lately.
 A repost of an older story will be going up on LIT in Feb. 

Finally

After 5 years I finally got around to posting a new story.. It is on LIT and SOL.  The constant nagging (lol) from The Wanderer/Denham Forrest, was a motivating factor and the invite from BlackRandi, cinched it.  It is not much, but I at least tried.  To all of you who are unaware, I got to spend a great week in Cornwall with The Wanderer last November.  He is as unique in real life as he is on paper. I will remember his graciousness and hopefully look forward to a return visit.  Sorry for the long time between blogs and stories. I'll try and do better.

Denham Forrest aka the wanderer has finished another story.  This one was intended to be an entry into Jake's Invitational, but somehow never got finished or posted. End of the Line

We are in the process of finalizing our to move to the old folks home. Between medical, financial and moving problems, things are pretty hectic for the old people. Just putting this out in case anyone might be interested what happen to me. We all get old and I am just trying to make the move a little smoother. Not much time for fun or creative stuff right now. Sorry guys but the time has come to move on.  I have deleted all of the posted stories but I will keep the jig saw puzzles up and running as long as there seems to be interest.  Thank you for all the visits and support the past few years.  Jim
